Fashion Careers College
Fashion Careers College(FCC) is a private post-secondary business school, located in San Diego, California, USA, founded to provide a collegiate-level education for students seeking careers in the fashion industry. Fashion Careers College has developed Degree and Certificate programs, as well as short-term seminars.
Founded by Patricia O'Connor in 1979. FCC offers a 2-year Associate's degree|associate of arts degree in Fashion Business or Fashion Design and Certificates in Fashion Business and Fashion Design. FCC is the only “Fashion Only” college in San Diego.
== Aims ==
Through Associate Degrees in Fashion Business and Technology and Fashion Design and Technology, Certificates in Fashion Design and Technology and Fashion Business and Technology, FCC imparts fashion-related theory and practical knowledge augmented by general education skills and knowledge, in workshops, elective tracks, courses, fashion tours, internships, volunteer work and counseling.
For Degree and Certificate programs, the graduate will be trained for entry level positions including Visual Display Artist, Assistant Buyer, Computer Patternmaker, Merchandise Manager, Store Manager, Production Assistant, Computer Marker Maker, Boutique Owner, Showroom Sales Representative, Special Events Coordinator, Assistant Product Developer, Assistant Inventory Control Analyst, Assistant Designer, Patternmaker, Buyer, Sample Maker, Computer Grader, Cutting Assistant, Costume Designer and Assistant Allocator. Students may enroll in fashion-related, short-term seminar programs.
